Some Wounds Create Wisdom

Some days, I feel as though my life is being pulled in too many directions at once. Each year seems to bring a new impossible challenge — more complex, more unexpected, more emotionally demanding than the last — and I am left trying to make sense of it all as it unfolds. And yet, despite everything, I still cannot say that my life is miserable.

That realisation shocked me at first. Sometimes it feels as though I am living the lives of hundreds of different people at once, carrying fragments of their struggles, fears, responsibilities, and emotions. And somehow, in the middle of all this chaos, I remain happy.

Only later did I understand why.

It is because of my values. They are the foundation that gives me strength, confidence, resilience, and peace. They allow me to keep moving forward even when life becomes unpredictable.

I often think of Socrates and his famous words:

“By all means, marry. If you get a good wife, you will become happy; if you get a bad one, you will become a philosopher.”

Well, I obviously became a philosopher.

And perhaps that is not such a bad thing after all. Through difficult experiences, I discovered my strengths and confronted my weaknesses. I learned to identify myself beyond expectations and circumstances. Life forced me to mature, to evolve, and eventually to search for beauty and positivity even in painful situations.

So today, if someone asked me what life truly is, I would answer this:

Life is knowledge.

Life is experience.
Life is sharing.
Life is adaptation.
Life is change.
Life is progression.

Is life worth living?

Yes — absolutely.

Because there is nothing more fascinating than witnessing growth, experiencing transformation, and observing the endless process of becoming.
